Carl Bloch's religious paintings are well known to Latter-day Saints. The artwork of this nineteenth-century Danish painter has been featured in Church magazines and in LDS meeting-houses, temples, and visitor's centers throughout the world. This book includes ninety-five works by the famed artist. The narrative features a biography of Bloch's life and commentary on each of the images to help us understand how Bloch created these visual relationships with Christ that have inspired millions.
